Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – Nights
Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Patient types include Cardiac, Trauma, and Neuro.
- Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts.
- Weekly hours: 36-40 hours, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
Orientation
- Orientation sessions are scheduled regularly throughout the year (multiple two-day sessions available).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required.
- First-time travelers are welcome.
- Certifications required:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for Iowa; Compact license allowed.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
Additional Information
- Night shift with 12-hour shifts.
- Floating within the same discipline may be required.
- Experience with EPIC EMR system is required.
- Patient population includes critical care patients in ICU settings (Cardiac, Trauma, Neuro).
