Job Opportunity: Level III NICU/PICU Respiratory Therapist, Night Shift

Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Job Description

Provide respiratory therapy services in a Level III Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit setting during the night shift.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Illinois
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) issued by the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Additional Information

• Onsite completion of some onboarding forms is required.
• Badge photo must be a forward-facing headshot with a white or blue background, no alterations.
• Background checks and verifications must be updated annually or if there is a break in service longer than 90 days.
• Skills checklist for respiratory therapy must be completed within one year of start and updated annually.

Summary

This is a night shift position for a Level III NICU/PICU Respiratory Therapist in Illinois on a 13-week long-term assignment. Candidates must hold a current RRT license, have required certifications (BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP), meet comprehensive health and vaccination requirements, and complete thorough background and drug screenings. Completion of specific onboarding and competency requirements is mandatory prior to and during the assignment.
