Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a high-acuity assignment at Medical Center in Fresno, California. The RN will provide comprehensive care to antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal patients in a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Level III NICU environment.

Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in Labor & Delivery
Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor and delivery
Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
Assist physicians during deliveries, emergency procedures, and C-sections
Educate patients and families regarding childbirth, recovery, and newborn care
Maintain accurate patient documentation and EMR charting
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Respond quickly to obstetric emergencies and high-risk situations
Requirements
Active California RN License
Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
Previous travel experience preferred
Experience in high-acuity L&D settings strongly preferred
