Pros
It’s a real PACU that turns over and doesn’t hold for forever.
Cons
The staff will leave you to “land” your own patients and hang out at the nurses’ station. ZERO teamwork. Only 1 or 2 techs are proactive, the others you have to hunt down if you want help. The unit clerk hands out patients in a rotation without clinical judgement or knowledge of your current patient load. I was VERY frequently the only nurse with more than one patient while every other staff nurse had none. “Abuse” is a harsh word but they came close for sure. They would send home all of their day shift staff nurses and then call in the night shift travelers to cover for a couple of hours. So know that, if you’re a traveler, you WILL be caller in.

Pros
At least you still put the Facility unlike the other agencies out here. For context, a lot of people avoid HCA and Kindred
