• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,810 – $1,940

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology program (Associate's Degree required)
• ARRT(R) – Registered Technologist Radiography required upon hire
• RT:R – Ohio Department of Health registration required upon hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required upon hire
• Strong knowledge of x-ray equipment (digital and analog), image printers, PACS, RIS, and radiology information systems
• Familiarity with fluoroscopy, radiation safety, and ALARA principles; knowledge of Image Gently and Image Wisely initiatives
• Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
• Customer-service focused with the ability to work independently and perform imaging procedures to physician protocols
• At least 1 year of experience as a Registered X-Ray Technologist / Radiology Technologist preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures (general radiography and related exams) as directed by physician protocols
• Provide compassionate, age-specific patient care for neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients
• Follow radiation and fluoroscopic safety standards, ALARA, Image Gently, and Image Wisely guidelines
• Operate and troubleshoot digital radiography systems, maintain image quality, and manage images in PACS/RIS
• Perform routine equipment quality control checks and accurately document results in required logs/databases
• Adhere to hospital and departmental SOPs, policies, protocols, HIPAA privacy rules, and infection control standards
• Demonstrate technical imaging skills while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety
• Assist with student instruction and orient new staff after meeting experience requirements (typically after 1 year)
• Enter and verify correct billing/coding information in the RIS to support department operations
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the radiology department and patient care mission
