Therapist - Behavioral Health
Location: Vancouver, Washington
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Facility & Unit Overview
- Behavioral health inpatient unit with 24 beds
- Patient population: Adults (18+) with psychiatric and/or substance use disorders
- Patient ratio: 1 therapist to 12 patients
- Documentation system: Hybrid electronic health records and paper charts
- Shift: Days, 40 hours per week
- Weekend requirement: One weekend day per week
- Call: None
- Float: Not required
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct group therapies
- Complete treatment and discharge planning
- Medical record documentation
Required Qualifications
- Valid Mental Health license in Washington
- Master's degree in a social services field
- Minimum 1 year of mental health experience, including experience within the last year
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in substance use treatment
Work Environment & Culture
- Team-oriented, flexible, positive, and solution-focused personality fit
- Strong writing skills required
- Dress code: Business casual; hats and hoodies are not acceptable
