This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts are 12 hours, rotating between nights (7P-7A) and days (7A-7P). Available hours are 36 and 48 hours per week, requiring 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Candidates must also work at least 1 holiday per contract.

Job Description

Join our team in the West 7 Med/Tele Complex Care unit consisting of 37 beds. We seek a dedicated Registered Nurse with a focus on acute medical surgical and telemetry care. Flexibility is essential due to the needs of the facility's schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Med/Tele unit.
• Float to other units as needed and be willing to work in a charge capacity.
• Utilize EPIC for charting patient information.
• Support and collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 1 year of recent experience in acute med/surg and telemetry.
• A minimum of 2 years of U.S. work experience is required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York RN license is required.
• Certifications in NIH and AHA BLS are mandatory.
