Job Description

The Physical Therapist Manager is responsible for managing a hospital-based inpatient and outpatient physical therapy clinic. This role involves providing patient care as needed, supporting medical staff, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams while adhering to compliance with governing body guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee physical therapy operations to ensure patient-centered excellence and employee focus.
• Provide skilled physical therapy evaluations and establish treatment plans.
• Coordinate an orthopedic specialty field clinic, including screening and prioritizing referrals.
• Optimize department revenue streams and manage expenses for financial viability.
• Promote professional development among department staff and maintain a team atmosphere.
• Participate in the development and execution of departmental reports and audits.
• Collaborate with corporate teams to build administrative processes that enhance clinic workflows.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited program in Physical Therapy.
• Four (4) years of active, full-time patient care experience; previous managerial experience preferred.
• Current license in good standing in Alaska as a Physical Therapist.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
