Job Description
The MRI Technologist will perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures and ensure high-quality diagnostic images are produced. The technologist is required to complete patient assessments, maintain equipment, and adhere to safety protocols while providing compassionate care to patients of all ages.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans and ensure image quality and patient safety.
- Assist in patient preparation and post-procedure care.
- Maintain MRI equipment and perform basic troubleshooting.
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
- Adhere to all protocols for patient confidentiality and safety.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members for optimal patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
- ARRT certification in MRI (or equivalent certification).
- BLS certification.
- Experience with GE and Siemens MRI systems preferred.
- Familiarity with patient demographics including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics is required.
