Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will have experience in both diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations along with a strong ability to monitor and manage procedural sedation.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations.
- Monitor patients during procedural sedation, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
- Provide care for patients undergoing left and right heart catheterizations.
- Administer and monitor procedural sedation, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Utilize telemetry assessment skills to identify arrhythmias and respond appropriately.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a Cath Lab.
- Valid NY State Registered Nurse License.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.
- Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations.
