Day Shift: 4x10-Hour (06:45 - 17:15) with some weekend on-call duties.
Job Description
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) professionals for our Operating Room. Candidates must have at least two years of nursing experience, including expertise in Robotics, Urology, and Thoracic procedures. This position requires on-call duties, with a focus on providing high-quality surgical assistance in a level IV trauma center.
Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team with patient care and surgical procedures.
- Utilize advanced surgical skills in Robotics and Thoracic surgeries.
- Ensure all surgical protocols and safety measures are adhered to.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required.
- Successful completion of an accredited RNFA training program.
- Current RN license to practice in West Virginia or an active compact license.
- Current CNOR and CRNFA certifications required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience with Da Vinci Surgical Systems preferred.
