Coworkers are wonderful, staffing ratios are dismal
My last assignment at Good Sam was in 2021. Most travelers were placed on the MS/tele float pool and you were guaranteed to be floated twice per shift. Staffing ratios were up to 1:9 on nights during this time. Travelers were also 1st to float to their dedicated COVID Unit, which was an awful unit, isolated from a majority of the unit. It was usually 2 RNs and an aide for 10 patients. However, if none of those patients required a PCU or ICU RN, you were alone with just the CNA. Dangerous, dangerous staffing levels and admin/mgmt did not seem to care. The fellow RNs, CNAs, dietary, housekeeping....were all wonderful but they were being sorely abused by their hospital admin, IMHO. I hope it's improved since then because the staff deserve so much better.

Mynela Staffing
I used Mynela for my first travel contract in Wisconsin and couldn’t have been more pleased. They were extremely fast and helped me negotiate my contract. I loved my whole experience with them and absolutely loved my job location, I was even invited to come back at any time! I wouldn’t use anyone else.
How?Most agencies create their pay packages by factoring in the “benefits” they give to you. Meaning, every perk or reimbursement given to you actually comes out of your package. At Mynela, we give you Bottom Line Pay Packages---- instead of taking huge margins and breaking down your pay into many various things such as reimbursements, relocation, bonuses (which gets heavily taxed) we throw it all back into YOUR weekly gross! With Mynela, you're in control of your money!
Our main focus is understanding your interests and goals, so we can match you with the best paying travel contracts with leading hospitals across the US.
