Description
Job Summary:
Lander, Wyoming This position is for a Radiologic Technologist specialized in computed tomography (CT) located in Lander, Wyoming. The role involves performing diagnostic CT exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment under general supervision. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ARRT certification in CT Technology and Radiology; BLS certification through the American Heart Association; 2 years recent CT and Radiology experience and ability to work independently; familiarity with GE CT and X-ray machines; recent experience working alone
- Additional Information: Candidates may be asked to take call/standby as required by the department. The position involves verifying patient identity, reviewing medical records, interviewing patients to obtain and update medical history, explaining procedures, setting up equipment, acquiring images, reviewing images, recognizing and responding to medical emergencies, and providing post-care instructions. Participation in process improvement and educational activities is expected.
