Job Summary:
The Xray Technologist position is located in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves working in the main radiology department of a teaching facility, performing general X-ray imaging including trauma and high-acuity patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers a shift of 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, and a start date of 06/29/2026.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS and ARRT-R certification, valid license to practice as an Xray Technologist, with at least 2 years of acute care experience and 1 year of leadership experience in radiology (e.g., Lead Tech, Manager, Supervisor, Director). EMR experience with EPIC is required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Trauma department experience, C-arm experience (required), O-arm experience (preferred).
- Additional Information: This is a teaching facility where high-acuity patients are common, and the role may include assistance in other areas such as the ED and OR. The position involves supervisor duties such as scheduling, coaching, onboarding, and communication with physicians. Shift coverage may include day, mids, nights, and weekends with no call requirement. Orientation includes up to five days of departmental and facility tours.
- Support Available: Lead Technicians and managers during weekdays, weekend CT Supervisor, management/leadership support via phone, support from MD residents and fellows, additional Radiologic Technicians available.
- Float: No, only to different areas of X-ray and portables within the facility.
- Orientation: Facility and departmental tours, flexible up to five days based on needs.
