Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room at a Level 1 trauma center. The position requires proficiency in scrub roles and familiarity with DaVinci robot procedures, large head and neck surgeries, neuro spine operations, and exploratory laparotomy cases.
Responsibilities:
- Perform nursing duties in the Operating Room for various surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure optimal patient care
- Float to all ORs as required
- Participate in on-call rotations up to 6 shifts per 13-week contract
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting
- Level 1 trauma experience is mandatory
- Must possess strong scrub experience
- KS RN license and AHA BLS certification
- Nonsmoker as facility is nicotine-free
