Registered Nurse ICU Mixed Acuity

Job Description:
This role is within a mixed acuity unit providing care for intermediate and non-vented ICU level patients. Responsibilities include managing a variety of neurological and post-procedural patients, as well as those with respiratory failure, CHF, hypotension, sepsis, and other acute conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Care for neurological and post-procedural patients, including post TNK, neuro IR procedures, and spinal cord injuries.
- Monitor patients suffering from conditions such as respiratory failure, CHF, and sepsis with a patient ratio of RN: 1:3 based on acuity.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience.
- Licenses: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required.
- Skills: Experience with bipap/cpap, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and titrating drips including Cardizem and Levophed.
