Travel RN Opportunity – ICU
Location: Ardmore, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Specialty: ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
- Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (36 guaranteed hours/week)
- Number of Openings: 2
- Call Requirements: Standby for low census, must be able to report within 1 hour
- Float Requirements: Must float to any area as needed
- Patient Ratios: Approximately 2:1 in ICU, 3:1 in IMC (estimates)
- Unit Beds: 13 ICU beds, 6 IMC beds
- EMR System: EPIC
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) from AHA only
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Preferred Certification:
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2+ years ICU experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Experience with medical/surgical ICU patients including cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, heart attacks, strokes, and complex comorbidities
- Must be a team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment
