Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech
Location
- Modesto, California
Employment Type
- Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM)
- Call requirement: 8-12 call shifts per month, including one weekend call per month
Job Description
- Scrub, circulate, and monitor Cath Lab procedures including:
- Coronary Angiograms with PCI
- Pacemaker insertions
- Peripheral Aortograms
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in California
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- California ARRT Radiology Technologist license
Required Health and Safety Documentation
- Physical exam within 1 year of start (must clear for work)
- Fit mask test within 1 year, renewed annually (exceptions apply)
- Immunizations and titers:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 90 days, renewed annually
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity or vaccination
- Hepatitis B vaccination series or declination
- Varicella immunity or vaccination
- Seasonal flu vaccination during flu season (Nov 1 – Apr 30) or signed declination
- Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids per CA law)
- Respiratory safety clearance (not required for all disciplines)
Background and Compliance Requirements
- Education verification (highest level achieved)
- Employment history verification covering 7 years with no gaps over 30 days
- Professional license verification within 30 days of start
- FACIS Level 3 screening within 2 weeks of start and monthly thereafter
- Sex offender search within 90 days of start
- Various federal and state sanction list checks updated annually
- Completion of facility-specific documents including:
- Job description review/signature
- Standards of business conduct
- Code of conduct
- Vendor training
- Overpayment refund policy
- TB questionnaire signed by candidate and healthcare provider
- Conditional offer of employment attestation

- Personal or auto insurance only required if position involves driving
