Description
MRI Technician - New Hampshire (Dover Area)
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Shift: Monday - Friday, 5x8 day shift (exact times to be discussed during interview)
Locations Covered: Portsmouth, NH and Lee, NH
Job Description
- Assignment involves coverage at multiple locations within the Dover, NH area.
- Candidates must be proficient in General, OB, Pediatric, and Abdominal MRI imaging.
- Local travelers will not be considered.
Required Qualifications
- Valid MRI Technologist license in New Hampshire.
- Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
- Experience working with Pediatric patients.
Health and Compliance Requirements
- Documentation of immunity or vaccination for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) or proof of immunity via blood test.
- TB test documentation within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test), updated if break >6 months.
- Physician health statement within 1 year of start date, updated if break >6 months.
- Fit test for N95 respirator within 1 year of start date, updated annually (no onsite testing; must be completed prior).
- Respirator Medical Clearance attestation if fit test required.
- Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date, updated if break >6 months.
- National sex offender registry check within 30 days of start, updated annually.
- Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, Medicaid) within 30 days of start, updated annually.
- New Hampshire state-specific criminal background and BAAS checks within 30 days prior to start, updated if break >30 days.
- Education verification through background check company.
- Social Security Number trace as part of background check.
- Name change documentation if legal name differs from credential documents.
Submission Requirements
- Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state.
- Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher.
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year.
- Candidate submission coversheet (current version).
- Primary source verification of professional license/certification within 30 days of start date.
Additional Notes
- Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity is strongly preferred but optional.
- Tdap vaccination within 10 years is preferred but optional.
- Positive TB test requires documentation of a negative chest X-ray.
- No religious or medical exemptions allowed for fit testing.
- Must be able to complete all credentialing and onboarding requirements prior to start.
This position is ideal for MRI Technicians who are comfortable working day shifts, have strong imaging skills across multiple patient populations, and meet New Hampshire licensure and certification requirements.
