Job Description

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures using ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
• Position patients and equipment accurately to demonstrate the area being examined, requiring extensive anatomic positioning skills.
• Provide radiation protection for patients and staff according to safety standards.
• Adjust technical factors independently based on knowledge of human anatomy, disease effects, radiation principles, and operation of radiologic equipment.
• Work primarily in hospital settings including ER, inpatient, fluoroscopy, and operating room environments.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of X-Ray experience.
• Highly proficient in hospital settings (ER, inpatient, fluoroscopy, OR).
• Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Completed skills checklist relevant to radiology tech within the last year.
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered).
