Description

Registered Nurse - Step Down Unit

Location: Warwick, Rhode Island
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM


Job Summary

Seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down unit. This is a long-term assignment lasting approximately 13 weeks.


Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Rhode Island
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within the last year
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Onboarding Requirements

  • Completion of specialty competency exams and skills checklists specific to the Step Down RN role.
  • Completion of pharmacology, basic EKG, and core competency exams prior to start.
  • Submission of professional references (minimum one supervisory).
  • Employment verification for the last 5 years.
  • Signed confidentiality agreement and work attestation forms.
  • Submission of a neutral-background badge photo.
  • Completion of occupational health clearance and confirmation of assignment forms.
  • Annual completion of COVID and flu policy forms.

Additional Information

  • Resume/profile submission required.
  • Prior travel experience is not specified as required.

This position requires a highly qualified RN with demonstrated expertise in step down care, compliance with comprehensive health and credentialing requirements, and readiness for a long-term assignment with day shifts.
