Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (Nights)
Location: Pontiac, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 12
Job Description
Provide nursing care in a Level II verified trauma center and accredited stroke center emergency department. The emergency department operates 24/7, treating serious medical conditions such as:
- Stroke symptoms (e.g., sudden numbness)
- Heart attack symptoms (e.g., chest pain, shortness of breath)
- Seizures or loss of consciousness
- Severe injuries (fractures, head trauma)
- Vomiting or coughing up blood
- Deep cuts or uncontrollable bleeding
- Severe burns
- Severe abdominal pain
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience in Emergency Department (ED)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required (ENPC not accepted)
- Valid RN license for Michigan

- Dress code: Gray scrubs
- Electronic Medical Record system: Cerner
- 12-hour shifts
- Facility is a comprehensive medical center offering emergency and trauma care, cardiology, cancer services, minimally invasive robotic surgery, and orthopedic services
