Description
Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) - Travel Position
Location
- McMinnville, Oregon
Job Type
- Travel assignment
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Facility Overview
- 60-bed acute-care, full-service facility
- Level 3 Trauma Center
- Accredited Chest Pain Center
- 24-hour Emergency Department
- Patient population includes all ages with a wide variety of exams
Work Schedule
- 36 hours per week guaranteed
- Shift: 3 twelve-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 8:00 PM) on either Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday/Friday
- Weekend rotation: 1 in 4 (Saturday/Sunday)
- On-call shifts available for C-arm coverage
Unit and Equipment
- Department: X-Ray
- Equipment includes GE Definium Collapsible Tower DR portables, GE XR 646 Rooms, GE P500 Fluoro, OEC C-Arms
- Electronic Health Records: Meditech EMR, McKesson/Change Healthcare PACS
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Oregon
- Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience as an X-Ray Technician
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluoroscopy experience
- Comfortable with a light procedural load
- No interventional radiology (IR) cases
Additional Information
- Position is to cover a maternity leave
- Teamwork oriented, self-directed, and motivated personality fit
- Dress code: Any scrub color accepted; light blue scrubs provided and required for OR coverage
- Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
- Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel
Call and Float
- Call shifts available for C-arm coverage
- No float requirements
