Description
Cath Lab Technician
Location: Waterloo, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
On-Call Requirements:
- On call 2 days per week from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM for two weeks
- Then on call every third weekend, from 3:30 PM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday
Job Description
- Position requires a Radiologic Technologist with experience in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR).
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Iowa.
- Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
- Experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Background and Compliance Requirements
- Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background check covering the last 7 years, including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start.
- Iowa-specific criminal history, sex offender, and dependent adult & child abuse registry checks required within 30 days of start.
- Verification of education and licensure within 30 days of start.
- Completion of various professional compliance forms and agreements, including:
- Code of Conduct
- Confidentiality and Information Security Agreement
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure
- Integrity and Audit Services Form
- Non-Employee Upload Form
- Criminal background and exclusion screenings (EPLS, OIG, NSO, OFAC) within 30 days of start.
- Completion of Joint Commission CORE exam within the past year.
- System access form must be completed and uploaded one week before start.
Required Documentation for Submission
- Resume and skills checklist (completed within the past year).
- Two professional references.
Additional Notes
- The agency will provide the specialty skills checklist for clinical contractors.
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
