Registered Nurse (RN) - Temp Position

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs
• Adjust specialized medical equipment as needed
• Interpret and record measurements
• Monitor patients' vitals and report adverse medication reactions promptly

Requirements

Experience

• At least 1 year of Medical-Surgical (MS) experience - Required
• Recent traveler experience - Highly preferred

Documentation

• Work history
• Skills checklist current to within 1 year, relevant to specialty
• 2 supervisory reference forms from the last 2 years

Licensure & Certifications

• Oklahoma State Nursing License or compact license
• BLS (AHA) certification
• NIH certification

Additional Notes

• Facility considers local candidates (within 50 miles) at a reduced rate
• Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays
