Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist (Outpatient)
Location: Salem, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (Monday to Friday)
- Focus on outpatient hand therapy
- Experience required with post-operative hand surgeries and splinting
- Responsible for patient evaluation, development, and implementation of treatment plans
Required Qualifications
Education
- BS, MS, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
- Experience in an outpatient setting
Licensure
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Oregon
Additional Requirements
- Criminal background check within 90 days of start (7-year search)
- Drug screening (10-panel) within 90 days of start
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Immunizations and health screenings including:
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- Tdap vaccine or facility-specific declination
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity or vaccination
- Hepatitis B vaccination or declination
- Varicella immunity or vaccination
- Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination (year-round)
- Fit mask testing to be completed onsite within the first week of starting
- References: 2 references within the last 2 years showing 1 year in a comparable specialty, with at least one supervisory reference within the last 12 months
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification

- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
- Must be able to work outpatient setting with focus on hand therapy and post-op care
