Registered Nurse (ER) - West Virginia

Job Details

Location: Keyser, West Virginia
Department: Emergency Room (ER)
Shift: Nights
Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks
ER Beds: 8
Average Daily Census: 29 patients
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: Typically 1:2, can be up to 1:4
Medication System: Pyxis
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Yes
Floating: No floating required
Call: Travelers are generally not put on call unless requested
Providers on Unit: NP/PA coverage from 10 AM to 8 PM daily

BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
PALS (AHA)
NIHSS

Additional Requirements

Must submit a copy of an unexpired driver’s license with application
Must disclose any licensing issues at time of submission
Must be willing to work within a 50-mile radius

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license for West Virginia
Experience in Emergency Room nursing (minimum 1 year recommended based on specialty)
