Description

Sonographer - West Virginia

Job Details

  • Location: Princeton, West Virginia
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: All shifts, including 2nd shift
  • Hours: 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
  • Weekend and weekday call rotation required
    • Weekend call shifts:
      • Saturday 9:30 PM – 7:00 AM
      • Sunday 9:30 PM – 6:00 AM
    • Weekday call shifts (if not on weekend call):
      • Monday–Thursday 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (may start at 9:30 PM if needed)
      • Friday 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
    • Call schedule is flexible with a team of 6 sonographers rotating and trading weekends
  • Must be flexible to work weekends, call, and 2nd shift

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of a C.A.H.E.P. accredited training program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • ARRT certification in Radiology
  • Registered by ARDMS or ARRT with certification in one specialty: Abdominal (AB), Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/Gyn), Pediatric Sonography (PS), or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification via ARDMS required
  • Vascular and general ultrasound experience required
  • BLS (AHA) certification required
  • Valid, unexpired driver’s license (must submit copy with application)
  • Background check disclosure required at time of submission

Additional Information

  • 100-mile radius rule applies for candidate submissions
  • CCI certification is acceptable but not preferred
