Registered Nurse (Resource Pool - All Units)

Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours: 12-hour shifts, 48 hours per week

Job Overview

• Position covers multiple units including Medsurg, Stepdown, Telemetry, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, General Medicine, and Oncology.
• Units included:

  • 8 EAST (MedSurg Stepdown & Floor)
  • 8 WEST (Stepdown/Floor)
  • 8 NE (Stepdown)
  • 6E (Long term antibiotic infusion)
  • 7 EAST (Trauma & General Surgery Inpatient)
  • 7 WEST (Stepdown & Floor)
  • 7 NE (Ortho Neuro)
  • 10 EAST (Neuro Stepdown & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit)
  • 10 WEST / 6 WEST (Neuro)
  • 9 EAST (Surgical Oncology/MedSurg Stepdown & Floor)
  • 9 WEST/TCTU (Medical Oncology/Stepdown)
• Patient ratios:

  • Stepdown units: 1 nurse to 3 patients
  • Medsurg/Telemetry units: 1 nurse to 6 patients
• Each unit has up to 34 beds.
• Royal Blue Scrubs required.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• ACLS (AHA) certification.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• Epic electronic health record experience required.
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Must be well-rounded and strong in Stepdown, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, General Medicine, and Oncology nursing.

Additional Submission Requirements

• Candidates can only submit to one position at a time within the system.
• Driver’s license address must be more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Previous permanent candidates must have been gone for at least 2 years.
• Previous travelers who completed a full year must have been gone for at least 2 years.
• Travel teams must be submitted together.
• Only 2 candidates can be submitted per opening; submissions may be held if the position is full.
• Individual unit requirements apply as per internal guidelines.

Notes

• Weekend night shifts may include 4x12 hour shifts with varying schedules (Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, Monday).
