Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Technologist)
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Job Description
Perform radiologic technology duties as an X-Ray Technologist.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Massachusetts (Primary Source Verification required within 30 days of start; conditional licenses not accepted).
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
- ARRT certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to onboarding (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted; AHA preferred).
- Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no exemptions allowed).
- Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation required if fit test is required.
- Documentation of immunity or vaccination for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) required.
- TB test documentation within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test), updated if break >6 months.
- Physician Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start, updated if break >6 months.
- Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start, updated if break >6 months.
- Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start, updated if break >6 months.
- Social Security Number trace for past 7 years.
- National Sex Offender Registry check within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
- Exclusion checks against OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid lists within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
- Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state required for submission.
- Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher in the skillset, required for submission.
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year required for submission.
- Confirmation of Assignment/POI form required upon acceptance and for extensions.
- Education verification through background check company (highest level achieved).
Additional Notes
- Positive TB skin test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray after the positive test.
- No onsite fit testing available; must be completed prior to start.
- No religious or medical exemptions allowed for fit testing.
- Background checks include international residence or travel exceeding 30 consecutive days within the last 7 years.
- Name change documentation may be required if credential names do not match legal name.
