Job Summary:
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Springfield, Missouri. This role involves providing high-quality direct patient care to pediatric patients in a busy ICU environment. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment. The position offers the opportunity to work night shifts with a schedule of 12-hour shifts, and the assignment duration is 13 weeks.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 0630-1900; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license that is either eligible for licensure in Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri; BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association; 2 years PICU experience with ventilator competence; at least 1 year post-orientation PICU experience; minimum 0 years of additional experience; location in Missouri
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma, burn, neurosurgery, pediatric surgery, respiratory, sepsis, endocrinology, chronic/trach, hematology/oncology, and orthopedics; flexible team player with clinical expertise
• Additional Information: Night shift orientation on day shift; must be available the entire week; utilization of nursing process, patient care coordination, and adherence to hospital standards and policies; physical demands include standing, walking, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds; float rotation may be required to NICU, Pediatric Medical Floor, or Pediatric Emergency Department as patient volumes dictate.
