Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse with Medical Surgical with Telemetry specialty in Lima, Ohio. This position involves providing high-quality patient care on night shifts, adhering to hospital policies, and utilizing clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Lima, Ohio
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Active Ohio (OH) or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license; Certifications: Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS); 2+ years of experience in Med Surg/Telemetry with pertinent skills; Competent with cardiac medications (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Cardine, Dobutamine, Lasix, Bumex) and knowledgeable in titration and application; Competent in telemetry and familiar with heart rhythms; Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to recognize and intervene in patient status changes; Knowledge of signs and symptoms of stroke and appropriate response.
- Additional Information: Every other weekend.
- Submission Requirements: Work history, Skills Checklist current to 1 year pertinent to Med Surg/Telemetry, and proof of certifications.
