Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking Certified Operating Room Technicians (CST) for a position located in Englewood, Colorado. This role involves working in a busy operating room environment, specializing in orthopedic and joint procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The shift is during daytime hours.
Job Details:
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital experience as CST. NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) certification and DORA (Department of Regulatory Agencies) license are required prior to submission. Orthopedic/Joint experience is essential.
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Flexibility for day/evening hours and call responsibilities may be required.
- Additional Information: The position involves work in a unit with 14 operating rooms, supporting a team of approximately 70 full-time equivalents. Procedures performed include neuro, transplants, orthopedic/spine, and trauma. Candidates with Level I trauma experience and Meditech electronic medical record experience are preferred.
