Description

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Burlington, Vermont. This position requires a highly skilled professional to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, performing circulating and scrubbing duties within the operating room. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Burlington, Vermont
  • Shift: Rotating (Day and Evening shifts)
  • Hours: 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certification in nursing with a minimum of 2 years of recent unit experience, including large trauma Level 1 experience. EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience from within the past 2 years is mandatory. Ability to both circulate and scrub, with skills checklists to be included in the application.
  • Additional Qualifications: Prior travel experience preferred. Strong experience in general operating room procedures, including orthopedic, urology, oncology, Da Vinci Robotics, general surgery, ENT, dental, plastics, neuro, cardiovascular, trauma, and CVT.
  • Schedule: Rotating shifts (Day/Eve), weekends and call required; schedule flexibility is essential.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained. Complete work history details, including bed count, facility type, and EMR, are required for submission. No block schedules are permitted. Orientation occurs bi-weekly on Mondays. Reliable transportation or rental vehicle is strongly recommended, as public transportation is not accessible in the area.
