Description

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical with Telemetry Registered Nurse in Burlington, Vermont. This position involves working on a Neurosurgical and surgical unit, with a focus on patient care in a large, teaching facility environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of their assignment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Burlington, Vermont
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Monday to Sunday, with a minimum of every other weekend and/or schedule adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and patient care.
  • Required Qualifications:
    • No minimum experience required
    • Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) NIHSS must be completed prior to start
    • Experience: Must have large, teaching facility experience, and Epic electronic medical record experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable
  • Additional Information:
    • Prior travel experience required
    • Must have at least 2 years of unit experience
    • All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
    • Complete work history information including bed count, electronic medical record system, facility type, etc., is required for submission
    • Public transportation is NOT accessible in this area; reliable transportation, personal vehicle, or rental vehicle is strongly recommended. Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April.
  • Schedule: 12 hours per shift with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Travel Required: No.
  • Float Required: No.
  • Start Date: 07/06/2026.
  • Additional Notes: Assignment duration is approximately 13-16 weeks, and the position offers bi-weekly orientations, with the next scheduled for 07/20.
