Summary:
With minimum supervision performs EEGs, Nerve Conduction Studies, EMGs, and related exams within the department. The EEG TECH II is also responsible for the physician billing for the department. Assist physicians with preliminary reports and during interpretation. Assist in other areas of the department, when available, in a friendly and helpful manner.
Requirements:
Education/Skills
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Completion of the Medical Assistant Program or one year of career-oriented college credits (24 credit hours) is preferred.
Experience
2 years experience in performing EEG in a clinical setting is required.
1 year experience with EKG/Stress testing preferred.
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
