Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) – Rotating Shifts

Shifts: Rotating 5x8s | Mix of days/evenings | Weekend shifts = 12 hrs
Start Date: ASAP (or per facility need)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40/week
 

Job Description:
We’re seeking a versatile MLT/MT (ASCP certified) with strong skills in Microbiology (including Plate Reads), Blood Bank, and Phlebotomy. You’ll play a crucial role in our small but dedicated team, directly contributing to diagnostic accuracy and patient care.

Requirements:

• Certifications: ASCP required
• Experience: Generalist with ability to perform blood draws
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a lab science field
• Shifts:
  • 3 Evening Shifts: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
  • 2 Day Shifts: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Weekends: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (12-hour shift)
• Call: No on-call
• Setting: Micro, Blood Bank, Phlebotomy

• Must be flexible and capable of working independently

• Reports to Lab Manager/Supervisor
• Creativity and professional judgment encouraged in day-to-day work
