Job Description:

Insight Global is hiring for a full time Chief Physician Assistant to join the Surgical PA team in The Bronx, New York. The Chief Physician Assistant (PA) will oversee the hiring, training, and ongoing supervision of new Vascular PAs, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Responsibilities include conducting performance reviews, handling HR issues such as disciplinary actions, preparing PA work schedules, assisting with payroll, and acting as a liaison between nursing units, referring physicians, and house staff officers. Medical services rendered by vascular PAs under the Chief PA's supervision include obtaining patient histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, formulating diagnoses, developing and implementing treatment plans, monitoring therapeutic interventions, and offering patient counseling and education. The role also involves developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure efficient operation and high-quality patient care within the vascular department.

Must Haves:

• 8-10 years of PA experience with a minimum of 5 Years of Vascular Experience
• 1-2 years of leadership experience
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Registered as Physician Assistant in New York State
• NCCPA Certified
• BLS Certified
• Bachelor's Degree
