General Information
Beds: 260-280; Daily census 250-260
Min 2 years recent hospital experience
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Upon manager review with strong experience
Patient Types:
Highly Progressive/Acute Respiratory Care - Adult Critical Care, Pediatric Critical Care, Neonatal Critical Care, and general inpatient respiratory care
Must be prepared to care for NICU patients if the requisition calls for that NRP cert required
Busy, fast-paced department
Required Certifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT required
CRT will not be considered
South Dakota RCP License (SDBMOE.gov) prior to submittal takes 30 days
BLS, ACLS
Required Education:
AA Degree
Skills required:
Critical Care, General respiratory care experience
Support on the Unit:
Charge RT/Respiratory Clinical Specialist 24/7
Supervisors, Manager, Director
Charting System:
EPIC (required)
Omnicell
Equipment:
Ventilators: Draeger V500 and Savina 300, 3100A Oscillator, Servo-I MRI, Hamilton C1
ResMed APAP, CPAP, Bi-level
Airvo2 High flow devices, Cough Assist, Incourage vest, ABL90 Blood gas machines, IPV, Praxair iNO
Floating: If yes, where?
RT Coverage throughout hospital and ED
Will not float to other facilities, unless hired for that specifically
Orientation:(facility and unit)

Weekend rotation: Every other
