Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER)
Location: Washington, DC
Shift: 12-Hour Mid Shift (9 AM–9 PM or 11 AM–11 PM)
Duration: Approx. 13 weeks
Start Date: Within 7 days of offer
Pay Rate: $ 60 - $ 62 / hourly on W2
Job Summary: The Emergency Department (ED) RN is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced and dynamic setting. This includes managing critical care needs, performing complex clinical interventions, and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive emergency care for a diverse patient population (pediatric, psych, trauma, urgent care, etc.)
Perform advanced procedures including arterial lines, chest tubes, and mass transfusions
Administer medications and perform titrations as required
Coordinate care and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
Requirements:
License: Active DC RN License (Required)
Certifications: NIHSS, TNCC, BLS, PALS, ACLS (All Required)
Experience: 1+ year of recent ER nursing experience (Required)
Education: Graduate of accredited or NLN-approved RN program (Required); BSN (Highly Desired)
Travel Experience: Preferred
