Description

Job Title: RN – Labor and Delivery 
Location: Washington, DC 
Shift: 12-Hour Day Shift (4x12s)
Contract Duration: 8 Weeks

 

Pay Details:$ 75 - $ 77 / hour on W2

 

Job Discerption: 
The L&D unit manages a range of obstetric patients including:
Pregnant patients 17+ weeks gestation
Laboring and delivering mothers (vaginal and C-sections)
Scheduled procedures (e.g., external cephalic version, cerclage)
Triage for OB-related issues
Activities on the unit include:
Admissions, discharges, transfers
Pre-operative and post-operative care
Use of Fetal Monitors and Electronic Charting Systems

 

Required Qualifications:
Active RN license (DC or compact state)
Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience
BLS & ACLS (American Heart Association)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
Experience with Cerner and Fetal ink documentation systems
