Description

Insight Global is looking for a Perfusionist for a large healthcare organization in Cincinnati.  This person will be responsible for operating the Heart Lung Machine during Open Heart Surgery as well as maintaining the patient's hemodynamic and physiologic parameters within acceptable limits for adult procedures including minimally invasive and Davinci Robotic procedures, TAVRs, Left Heart Bypass, and ECMO.  Additionally, this person will operate various Cardiovascular Life Support equipment including Cardiohelp, Centrimag, Belmont pump for HIPEC, Angiovac procedures, IABP, Cell Savers and POC testing as well as operate and maintain Heater Cooler Devices for CPB Procedures.

Shift: Day shift, 7a-3:30p, Mon-Fri, some call, every 9th weekend on call 

Must Haves: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Perfusion, or graduate of an ABCP recognized Perfusion Program
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
  • CCP Certification in Cardiovascular Perfusion by ABCP or certification required within 2 years of date of Hire (if new grad)
  • Knowledge of special procedures such as heart bypass, circulatory arrest, and cerebral perfusion
