Travel SLP – Inpatient/Outpatient | 13 Weeks | Days + Call | Rome, NY
A facility in Rome, NY is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment with adult and pediatric caseloads in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This is a high-acuity role requiring strong swallowing study experience and weekend/holiday call rotation.
🕐 Schedule:
- Day shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Monday–Friday
- Call: Rotating every other weekend & holidays
- ASAP start
🏥 Unit Info:
- Inpatient, outpatient, acute, sub-acute, and LTC settings
- Patient population: Adults + Pediatrics
- Charting: Paragon
✅ Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of SLP experience
- NY State License required
- BLS (AHA) required
- NIH Stroke Certification required before start
- 8 stroke-related CEUs required (completed during orientation)
- Must have experience with Video Fluoroscopy Swallow Studies (VFSS)
- Must be comfortable working across diverse care settings
- First-time travelers will be considered

This is a great opportunity for an experienced SLP to work across a range of settings in a highly supportive environment with strong clinical exposure.
13-week contract. Monday–Friday, 8a–4:30p + rotating weekend/holiday call. Must have NYS license, BLS, NIH Stroke Cert, and 2+ years of experience. Must be experienced with VFSS and treating adult + pediatric patients in inpatient/outpatient settings. Paragon charting. COVID vaccine not required (declination or documentation needed).
