Description
We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our Cath Lab team for a day shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM). This role offers the potential to transition from a travel/contract role into a permanent position. As part of a highly collaborative team, you'll assist with a range of cardiac procedures including cardiac caths, peripherals, TAVRs, and device implants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cath lab and digital imaging equipment
- Function as scrub assistant, X-ray tech, and digital imaging tech
- Maintain supply stock and orderly work environment
- Provide care across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
- Assure high-quality cardiac imaging
- Set Cath Lab table positions and angles per procedure protocol
Patient Types:
Cardiac caths, TAVR, pacemakers, AICDs, and peripheral angiography procedures
Staffing Ratio:
1 patient to 4 staff (2 nurses, 2 techs)
Shift & Schedule Details:
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Weekends: Every 3rd or 4th weekend
- On-call: Yes, rotated with staff
- Floating: No
Requirements:
- Active Louisiana Radiologic Technologist license
- ARRT certification
- BLS (required)
- ACLS (preferred and highly encouraged)
