Description
**Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse • Night Shift**
**Location:** Lancaster, CA
Join our team as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse for the night shift. We seek a skilled professional experienced in pediatrics, obstetrics, cardiology, trauma, and more, capable of caring for patients of all ages.
**Responsibilities:**
• Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Perform patient triage and assessments regularly.
• Respond to abnormal findings with appropriate interventions.
• Stay updated on emergency nursing practices and legal care aspects.
• Operate medical equipment like monitors and defibrillators.
• Engage in unit or hospital committees as needed.
**Qualifications:**
• Valid California RN license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention.
• 1 year of travel nursing and 2 years in an Emergency Department.
• Availability for weekends and holidays.
**Contract Details:**
• 13•week contract, night shifts starting at 6 PM.
• 36 or 48 hours per week (48 preferred).
**Health and Safety:**
• Current health documentation, including TB test, T•dap vaccine, and immunity proof for MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B.
• Recent drug screen and mask fit test.
