Facility: Bay Area Medical Center – Marinette, WI Department: IU Med/Surg Unit Trauma Level: III Total Beds: 104 | Unit Beds: 47 Shift Details: Variable | Ratios based on acuity RN: 1:4–5 (Days) | 1:5–6 (Nights) Tech: 1:7 (Days) | 1:9 (Nights) Requirements: Experience: Minimum 2 years First-time travelers: Accepted Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Skills: Telemetry competent Support Staff: Patient-free charge nurse LPN support for entire unit Daytime receptionist Centralized telemetry monitoring with tele tech 24/7 Hospitalist and RT coverage Phlebotomy support for peripheral blood draws Charting & Equipment: EPIC, Alaris, Pyxis Orientation: Minimum one shift to learn unit flow Other Details: Scrubs: Any professional color Parking: Free PPE: Adequate COVID protection provided
