Job Description

This contract position is for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. The COTA will assist in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, supporting patient functional improvement, documenting progress, and maintaining compliance with facility and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic interventions as outlined in the occupational therapy care plan.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, mobility training, and functional tasks.
• Document patient progress and treatment activities accurately and timely.
• Communicate effectively with supervising therapists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and patient-focused environment.
• Support patients in achieving individualized therapy goals.

Requirements

• Active and current state COTA license (must be active prior to start).
• Minimum experience: Less than 1 year required.
• SNF experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work assigned variable shifts.
• Bilingual not required.
