Job Description — RN, Med-Tele Acute / Obs / Swingbed Department: Med-Tele Acute, Observation, and Swingbed Beds: 19 Clinical Involvement: No clinical involvement from charge nurse Radius Rule: Must live 50+ miles away RTO: Up to 7 days per 13-week contract; must be submitted upfront. Shift & Schedule Shifts: 7a–7p or 7p–7a Scheduling: Team scheduling; self-scheduling or block scheduling possible Weekends: Every other Holidays: Every other Call/Standby: None Patient Info & Ratios Average Ratios: 1:3–6 Patient Types: Acute & Swingbed Pneumonia Rehab patients COPD CHF Pancreatitis GI bleed Required Skills & Experience Experience Required: Minimum 1 year Travel Experience: Not required Must-Have Skills: IV starts Telemetry NG tube placement Foley insertion RNs Must Also: Read their own rhythm strips (no monitor techs) Set up and competently manage BiPAP, CPAP, and HFNC (RT available but RN performs setup) Certifications Required: BLS ACLS
