Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long-Term Assignment (LTA) to staff vacant permanent positions within the Intermediate Care Unit at KSWIC VC Hospitals Wichita. This role requires proficiency in medical/surgical nursing with exposure to respiratory care in a high-acuity setting.

- Unit Details: 39-bed unit featuring private rooms, specializing in Medical, Surgical, and Respiratory patient care.

Schedule & Requirements

Shift: Nights (19:00 - 07:30 / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Hours: Full-time hours (Specific weekly hours not detailed, typically 36 hours for 12.5-hour shifts).
Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend is required.
On-Call: No on-call requirement.
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Experience with Cerner is utilized on the unit.

Required Qualifications

Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year of total Registered Nurse (RN) experience.
