Job Duties

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab.
• Perform baseline patient assessments, monitor patient status, and document responses during procedures.
• Monitor and record ECG rhythms, hemodynamics, and pressure waveforms throughout cases.
• Operate and troubleshoot all cath lab imaging and therapeutic equipment; maintain safe operating conditions.
• Apply sterile technique and handle supplies, instruments, and sharps according to protocol.
• Provide general patient care as needed during procedures.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Completion of a Cardiovascular Invasive program or equivalent experience.
• RCIS required; ARRT + state license may be required depending on assignment.
• BLS required; ACLS may be required.
• Minimum 2+ years hospital cath lab experience or equivalent to meet certification requirements.
• Strong knowledge of ECG interpretation, hemodynamics, and cath lab procedures.
• Must be able to work in high-stress, emergent environments with appropriate professionalism.
• Physical ability to perform direct patient care, stand for long periods, and lift up to 75 lbs.
